Domain Overview for any website

Real data from Google PageSpeed Insights, OpenPageRank, the Wayback Machine, BuiltWith, and a live crawl. If a metric can't be measured for free, we show it as unavailable rather than invent a number.

  • Lighthouse Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO scores
  • Real-user Core Web Vitals from Chrome UX Report when available
  • OpenPageRank authority score (0-10)
  • Domain age from the Wayback Machine, technology stack from BuiltWith
  • Live crawl: meta tags, structured data, indexability, headings, images

We combine Google PageSpeed Insights, OpenPageRank, the Wayback Machine, and BuiltWith with a live crawl of the URL you enter. Nothing on this page is estimated. Anything unavailable is shown as such.

What is this?

What is a domain overview and what does it tell you?

A domain overview is a one-page snapshot of a website's SEO health: its estimated authority, backlink profile, keyword footprint, monthly traffic, top geographies, and technical signals. Marketing teams use it for competitor research, agencies use it for prospecting, and site owners use it as a regular hygiene check on their own domain. Our free tool combines live technical signals (fetched directly from the page) with modelled estimates from public data.

  • Domain Authority estimate
  • Backlinks and referring domains
  • Organic keywords and monthly traffic
  • Live technical signals (HTTPS, structured data, sitemap, robots.txt)

What we measure

The metrics that matter

  • Domain Authority (0-100 scale)
  • Backlink count (unique links pointing to the domain)
  • Referring domains (unique sites linking to you)
  • Organic keywords the site ranks for
  • Estimated monthly organic and paid traffic
  • Traffic sources split
  • Top 5 countries by share

Live signals

The technical checks we run live

Beyond the estimates, we fetch your homepage and check the real technical signals Google cares about: HTTPS, response time, HTML size, language, presence of structured data, Open Graph tags, robots.txt, and sitemap.xml. These are pass/fail, no estimation.

When to use

When a domain overview is useful

  • Sizing up a new competitor
  • Vetting an acquisition or partnership target
  • Benchmarking your own domain against category leaders
  • Prioritising which competitor pages to attack first
  • Reporting quarterly on domain health
  • Justifying an SEO investment to finance

Estimates vs. verified data

Where our numbers come from

Domain Authority, backlinks, keywords, and traffic figures are estimates modelled from public signals. They are directionally accurate and consistent per domain, useful for comparison and benchmarking. For platform-verified numbers, our team uses Ahrefs, Semrush, and Google Search Console in every engagement. Book a call for a full verified report.

FAQs

Domain Overview, frequently asked questions

How accurate are your domain metrics?+

The technical signals (HTTPS, structured data, sitemap, response time) are 100% accurate because we fetch them live. The estimates (Domain Authority, backlinks, keywords, traffic) are modelled from public signals and are directionally accurate but should be validated with paid tools like Ahrefs and Semrush for critical decisions.

What is a good Domain Authority score?+

Domain Authority is a 0 to 100 scale. Anything above 40 is respectable for a mid-sized business. Above 60 is strong. Above 80 is enterprise-tier or media brand territory. Score is less important than trend. A domain going from 30 to 50 in 12 months is worth more than a stagnant 80.

Why does my traffic estimate differ from Google Analytics?+

Estimated traffic is modelled from public signals like ranking positions and estimated click-through rates. It is not the same as GA, which reports actual sessions from your tracking code. Estimates are useful for competitor comparison. GA is the ground truth for your own site.

Can I use this to research competitor domains?+

Yes, that is one of its best uses. Paste any competitor URL and get a full snapshot of their SEO footprint, technical setup, and traffic estimates.

Does the tool audit individual pages too?+

No, this tool is domain-level. For page-level on-page SEO checks, use the SEO Checker instead.

How often is the data updated?+

Live technical signals are fresh every request (cached for 60 seconds). Estimated metrics are deterministic per domain and updated periodically as our models improve. For real-time platform data, use Ahrefs or Semrush directly.
